Understand publication approval

Know what to do when your office requires approval before a property goes public.

Approval is an office policy

Some offices require a saved version of the property to be reviewed before publishing. A walkthrough, a generated file or an earlier approval is not approval of newly changed content.

Follow the review shown on the property

  1. Finish and save the property facts, photos and agent details. Open the Publication review section.
  2. Choose Submit for review and include a note when useful. Your reviewer sees the submitted version.
  3. When changes are requested, read the reviewer note, save the corrections and resubmit.
  4. After the saved version is approved, an authorized person must still explicitly publish it. Approval alone does not make a page public.

Why publishing can be blocked again

Changing reviewed property content can invalidate its approval and take a previously published page offline. Submit the new saved version rather than trying to reuse an old approval. Office administrators manage the policy and review queue; ordinary producers cannot approve themselves.
